Key responsibilities & impact

Further develop logistics operations at the Niederbipp, Romanshorn and Puidoux sites
Drive the transformation toward a modern, high-performing and future-oriented organisation
Lead and develop site managers
Ensure stable, efficient and high-quality operations across all logistics processes
Manage logistics using performance, quality and cost metrics
Derive and implement improvement measures based on performance data
Identify opportunities for automation and digitalisation and implement them in a commercially viable manner
Further develop the organisation, responsibilities and decision-making processes
Foster a culture of accountability, reliability, openness to discussing mistakes and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements and further strengthen resilience
Work closely with executive management and internal and external stakeholders
Provide a sound basis for decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of leadership experience in an operational logistics or supply chain function, ideally across multiple sites
Experience leading managers and larger operational units
Extensive experience in developing complex logistics processes, ideally based on the SCOR reference model or a comparable process architecture
Experience in transformation, reorganisation and automation projects
In-depth knowledge of Lean Management and continuous improvement
Proficiency in ERP, WMS and other logistics-related systems
Strategic and analytical thinking, strong execution skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills
Business-fluent German
Good command of English
French language skills are an advantage
