About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for Technical Services across the Niederbipp, Romanshorn and Puidoux sites
Ensuring the availability and ongoing development of technical systems and infrastructure
Responsibility for the safe, compliant and cost-effective operation of intralogistics and building services systems
Continuously developing the maintenance strategy
Driving automation, investment and optimization projects from conception and business case development through to implementation
Ensuring the qualification, validation and GxP compliance of quality-relevant technical systems
Managing the function based on relevant key performance indicators, budgets and investment plans
Identifying technical risks and developing emergency response, redundancy and business continuity concepts
Leading and developing managers and technical teams
Advising executive management and preparing decision-making documents and recommendations for action

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher technical education (HF, university of applied sciences or university), for example in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering, building services engineering, industrial engineering, facility management or a comparable qualification
Several years of leadership experience in a technical environment
Ideally, experience with cross-site responsibility and managing managers
Solid experience in intralogistics and/or automation engineering
Good knowledge of building services engineering and maintenance
Experience in a regulated environment, ideally pharmaceuticals, medical technology or food
Knowledge of GxP/GDP requirements is an advantage
Experience managing investment, automation or infrastructure projects
Strategic and analytical mindset, strong execution skills and outstanding leadership abilities
Fluent German at C2 level
Good English at B2 level
French at B1 level is an advantage for facilitating cross-site collaboration
