About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and people leadership for a team of five employees
- Represent and lead by example in accordance with organizational guidelines, working within the ITIL framework
- Advise customers on cyber security matters
- Architect, design, and engineer complex solutions involving firewalls, content filtering, load balancing, VPN gateways, remote access, and authentication
- Configure, install, commission, and perform problem management for solutions
- Support the sales organization with presales activities
- Develop and present technical solution concepts
- Lead technical projects and communicate and coordinate with customers, vendors, and partners
- Develop new solutions and evaluate new products
- Support operations with 3rd-level support
- Ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of customer services
- Identify areas for improvement and support the department head with proposed solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid IT education or equivalent training
- Several years of experience as a team lead and IT systems engineer
- Experience working for a professional managed service provider
- Willingness to pursue ongoing personal development in leadership and IT engineering
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Clean criminal record
- Strong commitment and willingness to contribute
- Customer-oriented approach
- Analytical thinking
- Strong commitment to quality

- Experience with the ITIL framework
- Knowledge of cyber security, firewalls, content filtering, load balancing, VPN gateways, remote access, and authentication
- Knowledge of Fortinet and F5 products
