About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team of five employees, both professionally and personally
- Represent and exemplify organizational policies and work according to the ITIL framework
- Advise customers on cybersecurity matters
- Develop concepts, design, and engineer complex solutions involving firewalls, content filtering, load balancing, VPN gateways, remote access, and authentication
- Configure, install, commission, and manage incidents and problems
- Support the sales organization with presales activities
- Develop and present technical solution concepts
- Lead technical projects and communicate and coordinate with customers, manufacturers, and partners
- Develop new solutions and evaluate new products
- Support the operations organization with 3rd-level support
- Identify opportunities for improvement and actively support the department head by proposing solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid IT education and training
- Several years of experience as a team lead and IT systems engineer
- Experience working for a professional managed service provider
- Willingness to pursue ongoing personal development and further training in leadership and IT engineering
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Clean criminal record
- Strong commitment and willingness to go the extra mile
- Customer-oriented approach
- Analytical thinking
- Strong commitment to quality
- Structured way of working

- Experience with the ITIL framework
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, firewalls, content filtering, load balancing, VPN gateways, remote access, and authentication
- Experience with Fortinet and F5 products
