About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Tier II technical support and assist Tier III support as needed
  • Assist with deployment of system and security patches
  • Assist with network equipment installation, maintenance, and first-line troubleshooting
  • Add, remove, and change users within systems
  • Lead the onboarding and offboarding process
  • Maintain and support bank systems including Office 365, NuPoint, and Active Directory
  • Install hardware and software on desktop and laptop machines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and thin-client hardware and software issues
  • Use remote connection and installation tools to resolve problems across the bank’s network
  • Upgrade desktop hardware including RAM, hard drives, video, and cameras
  • Facilitate workstation moves
  • Build and maintain corporate PC images
  • Re-image Windows 11 machines and set up core banking applications
  • Assist with Active Directory user and email account creation
  • Perform data migrations and assist with data restorations
  • Create and maintain IT support documentation and installation guides
  • Maintain current hardware and software inventory
  • Lead desktop and software upgrade projects
  • Set up wireless handheld devices including iPad, iPhone, and Android devices
  • Assist systems and network administrators/engineers with application, systems, hardware, and network support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in IT or Computer Studies, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
  • A+ Essentials Class Completion
  • Network + COMPTIA Class completion
  • 5-7 years Microsoft Active Directory, print servers, Exchange and file servers experience
  • 5-7 years IT hardware/software support experience
  • Excellent time management skills to multitask and balance multiple tasks while maintaining service level agreements
  • Experience with bank applications like Nupoint and Chexar preferred
  • Moderate TCP/IP Networking Protocols knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems, including Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019/2022/2025
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with general desktop PC troubleshooting
  • Experience with laptop encryption
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification a plus
  • Knowledge of common computing terminology and practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Must be willing to travel to various locations up to 30%
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including weekend hours
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and carry computer components
  • Background, credit reference, and drug screening required as a condition of employment
