Work closely with DevOps, system test engineering, and CPE development teams on end-to-end system integration, performance, and testing
Stay up to date with the latest backend development trends and technologies
Drive backend architecture
Mentor and guide backend developers

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.Sc./M.S. Computer Science, Software or equivalent
At least 10 years of software development working experience, especially experience in a Cloud Engineer role
At least 10 years' experience with major cloud languages such as Java, Go, Python, Node.js; preferably Java or Go
Experience designing and deploying microservices systems
Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC
Experience working with Spring Boot framework
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to execute software engineering tasks, with the ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated results
Experience with distributed messaging and streaming platforms such as Pulsar, Kafka, MQTT
Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks
Database experience, including SQL, NoSQL, Time Series DB, Postgres, Mongo, Redis, and Cassandra
Experience with open-source technology, software development, and system engineering
Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services, preferably AWS or GCP
Experience working with Kubernetes, Linux/UNIX, and Docker
Proficiency in English, spoken and written
Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts
Experience mentoring, guiding developers, and growing the backend team’s technical expertise
