About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and assess deviations between planned and actual performance, contractual deviations such as delivery delays and material defects, and contractual claims
  • Assess and manage contractual risks and claims above a defined threshold
  • Act as the interface with project, tactical, and strategic procurement
  • Prepare reports and document contract amendments, claims, and risks
  • Handle third-party claims and pursue the company’s own claims, including defending against supplier claims to avoid costs
  • Create standardized, legally sound contract templates for procurement, projects, and major tenders
  • Work closely with project, tactical, and strategic procurement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in engineering, business law, business administration, or law
  • Extensive knowledge of contract law
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Strong negotiation skills and clear communication
  • Ideally, at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Ideally, a certification such as Certified Contract Manager (CCM) or International Certificate in Contract Management (ICCM)
  • Fluent German
  • Fluent English
  • French is a plus
