Analyze supply, demand, inventory levels, price trends, spreads, and key market drivers across base and precious metals markets
Prepare concise market commentary and actionable insights for trading and commercial stakeholders
Develop and maintain models, dashboards, and datasets
Monitor relevant physical, macroeconomic, and geopolitical developments
Use AI tools to summarize research, automate repetitive tasks, and support initial analysis
Validate AI-generated outputs and apply sound judgment to ensure quality and accuracy
Collaborate and share knowledge within the commodity trading team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in commodity or metals research, market analysis, or trading support
Ideally, knowledge of base, battery, and precious metals markets
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Advanced Excel and data-processing skills
Python or SQL skills are an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented approach
Practical experience using generative AI tools for summaries, drafting, or analytical support
Experience with AI or machine learning for forecasting, signal generation, or document analysis is an advantage
Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid model in Baden, Switzerland
