About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a dynamic infrastructure team executing the organization's infrastructure strategy
- Partner with DevOps, Engineering, SecOps, and other teams to drive infrastructure strategies and deployment initiatives
- Serve as a subject matter expert on infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, performance, cost-effectiveness, and business alignment
- Manage business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and resilience planning initiatives
- Establish and maintain security standards across networks, infrastructure platforms, cloud environments, and server systems
- Develop, maintain, and improve backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies
- Direct installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise information systems and infrastructure services
- Oversee core network technologies including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless access points
- Refine change management, risk management, and operational governance processes
- Manage installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of information systems
- Build, mentor, and develop infrastructure and operations teams
- Manage infrastructure budgets, vendor relationships, licensing agreements, and technology investments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Advanced certifications such as ITIL, public cloud certifications or related infrastructure certifications preferred
- 10+ years of experience in information technology infrastructure, shared services, and advanced data center management required
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure teams and driving large-scale technology initiatives with hands-on leadership approach required
- Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and managing mission-critical environments
- Experience developing disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies for enterprise organizations
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience managing infrastructure budgets, vendor partnerships and service providers
- Ability to manage workload in a demanding environment to meet deadlines
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences
- In-depth knowledge across system and network engineering in a variety of infrastructure environments
- Ability to work in the Dallas office, as this is not a remote position
