About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead teams of engineers across multiple departments and geographic locations, including offshore locations
- Manage productivity, delivery, budget, code quality, job satisfaction, engagement, SDLC and engineering culture
- Systematically improve engineering performance and culture
- Manage stakeholders across product, business, engineering and finance
- Define the technical level and capabilities required for new hires
- Establish collaboration with managers, senior leadership, product and architecture organizations
- Coach and mentor teams
- Deliver products, projects and evolutions within delay, budget and scope
- Support level 1 and 2 incidents, escalations and vendor follow-up
- Implement version upgrades without regressions
- Guarantee high availability of systems
- Improve processes and follow up on KPIs
- Answer auditor queries
- Contribute to department roadmaps, budget definition and capacity planning
- Coordinate with management, product teams and other stakeholders
- Report to the Director of Engineering Commerce & Partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- 7+ years in a leadership role
- 3+ years within the Ayvens organization
- Experience managing suppliers and resources under outsourced contracts
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience in e-Commerce and Partnership systems production management
- Ability to lead meetings and user group workshops
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Interpersonal skills to manage and build relationships across multiple departments and geographical locations, including offshore locations
- Collaboration, agility, project management and decision-making skills
