Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary technical builder for the team, turning operational problems and business opportunities into reliable, automated solutions
Use generative AI, integrations, and RPA when appropriate
Take a hands-on approach and propose architecture suited to the context
Establish minimum quality standards and provide technical support to junior team members
Map processes, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize opportunities based on impact, feasibility, risk, and return
Design architectures prioritizing APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and orchestration
Develop end-to-end automations using Python and automation/orchestration platforms
Build generative AI solutions for classification, extraction, summarization, structured generation, and assisted automation
Evaluate and implement RAG, embeddings, semantic search, agents, or tool/function calling when applicable
Integrate AI and automations with enterprise systems, ERPs, databases, email, files, APIs, and internal/external services
Define error handling, retries, queues, logs, monitoring, alerts, and recovery mechanisms
Create tests, acceptance criteria, and validations for AI-powered solutions
Apply security best practices, credential management, access segregation, privacy, and traceability
Document architecture, processes, dependencies, and support procedures
Ensure knowledge transfer to junior team members
Provide technical support for backlog planning and estimates, recommending integration, automation, AI, or process improvements according to demand

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience developing automations and integrations in a corporate environment
Python for automation, API consumption, data manipulation, and building production-ready scripts/services
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, webhooks, and system integration
SQL and the ability to work with relational data
Git and code versioning and organization practices
Experience with an automation/orchestration or RPA platform, such as Power Automate, n8n, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere
Hands-on experience with language model APIs or building generative AI workflows
Applied knowledge of prompt engineering, structured outputs, and context handling
Ability to diagnose failures, work with logs, and support solutions in production
Preferred knowledge of RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and response quality evaluation
Preferred knowledge of function/tool calling, agents, and AI orchestration patterns
Preferred knowledge of document processing, OCR, and intelligent information extraction
Preferred knowledge of Docker, queues/messaging, cloud, and event-driven architecture
Preferred knowledge of Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and integrations with enterprise ecosystems
Preferred knowledge of integrations with ERPs and legacy systems
Preferred knowledge of Brazil’s LGPD, application security, observability, and AI governance
