About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to the Procurement team through reporting, administrative duties, and procuring
  • Conduct spend data analytics
  • Perform category market research
  • Support Strategic Sourcing process activities
  • Support Business Continuity planning and tracking
  • Support the Financial budgeting process
  • Identify Tail Spend opportunities
  • Support and track key Supplier performance metrics and contractual commitments, including rebates, productivity, and equipment amortization
  • Support collection of quality specifications and documents
  • Validate price change requests according to contract stipulations
  • Support contract price entry and updates in the system
  • Resolve invoice kick-outs and price discrepancies
  • Manage activities related to loading new Suppliers into the System
  • Interact cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Finance, Marketing, Planning, and Accounts Payable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-3 years relevant procurement or supply chain experience required
  • Co-Op or internship experience in procurement will be considered in lieu of experience
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementations required
  • Must be a self-starter, who is proactive and takes advantage of opportunities, without being asked
  • Must possess capability to set priorities, establish objectives and milestones, and identify or allocate resources appropriately
  • Must possess a strong work ethic
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills needed
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
