About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain shared backend services and libraries for other engineering teams
  • Develop scalable platform components, APIs, and integrations using C# and ASP.NET
  • Work with relational databases, document databases, key-value stores, and message brokers
  • Build cloud-native services running on Docker and Kubernetes
  • Help define and implement engineering standards, best practices, and reusable patterns across the company
  • Improve reliability, performance, observability, testability, and maintainability of platform solutions
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand their needs and provide effective technical solutions
  • Mentor engineers and support the adoption of modern engineering practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong backend development experience with C# and ASP.NET
  • Experience building distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and shared platform components
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with message brokers and event-driven architecture
  • Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools
  • Strong understanding of engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, code quality, observability, and reliability
  • Ability to take ownership, drive technical initiatives, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams
