About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help run paid ad campaigns across search, app, social, and display
  • Set up campaigns, verify functionality, and monitor budgets
  • Build regular performance reports tracking spend, installs, subscriptions, and subscriber acquisition cost
  • Analyze data to identify successful and unsuccessful approaches and suggest next steps
  • Study Babbel and competitor ads to identify effective hooks, messages, and formats
  • Help test ad copy, creative, landing pages, and audiences, and document learnings
  • Collaborate with Creative, Analytics, Product, and Martech teams
  • See campaigns through ideation, launch, and results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a college or university program
  • Marketing, business, or data-related majors are a plus
  • Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Organized and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Curiosity about paid marketing, performance marketing, digital ads, user acquisition, growth, or media
  • Experience with ad platforms, analytics tools, or subscription businesses is a bonus but not required
  • Must be located in the NYC area and able to work in person at the NYC office 3 days per week
