About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment via telehealth
- Carry a part-time caseload of 15–22 hours per week
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments across the lifespan
- Diagnose and manage ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and more
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations
- Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, primary care providers, schools, and families
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed
- Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia regulations
- Stay current on developments in psychiatric care and evidence-based treatment
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completed psychiatry residency
- Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
- Active Georgia medical license and DEA license
- Strong communication skills and genuine comfort working with diverse patient populations
- Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly encouraged
- Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings preferred
- Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and EHR systems preferred
