About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create day-making experiences through unparalleled guest service
Hand-craft beverages and prepare food to standard recipes, customizing to Guest preferences
Move between barista, greeter, and other shift roles as needed
Take orders and manage the cash drawer accurately, following cash-handling, safety, and security standards
Keep the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked, meeting operating standards for quality and safety
Anticipate and act on Guest and teammate needs
Make product recommendations based on product knowledge
Identify problems that can be solved independently and escalate issues to a leader when needed
Take direction from leaders and balance multiple priorities
Maintain reliable, consistent attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be at least 16 years of age
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needs
Excellent customer service mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and being part of a team
Reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours; these physical demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations
No previous experience required
Preferred: Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience
