About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction process
- Work directly under the BIM/VDC Manager
- Facilitate jobsite construction using VDC
- Create 3D models on one complex project or multiple small projects
- Assist with design validation and model maintenance
- Visit the field to learn concrete construction means and methods
- Support pre-construction with visualization and presentation
- Support research and implementation of construction technology
- Support onboarding and training needs
- Support information technology
- Participate in training and certifications
- Ensure a safe work environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in a related construction field and 5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM
- Advanced knowledge of platforms such as AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, Revit, Tekla, etc.
- Ability to visit the field and learn concrete construction means and methods
- Commitment to working safely and ensuring a safe work environment
