About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the BIM process from pre-construction through to project delivery
Coordinate BIM models and ensure they align with project specifications, scope, and timeline
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to integrate the electrical system into the overall project model
Maintain and update BIM models to reflect changes during design and construction
Resolve conflicts or discrepancies in BIM models with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Review BIM documentation, including model files, drawings, and specifications, for accuracy and completeness
Conduct clash detection and work with the team to resolve issues
Provide technical support and BIM training to team members and project stakeholders
Ensure BIM models comply with project and company standards and industry best practices
Collaborate with the project team to support timely and efficient project delivery
Organize and archive BIM files and related project documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably within the electrical or construction industry
Extensive knowledge of BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools
Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution
Strong understanding of construction processes, electrical systems, and coordination within a BIM environment
Proficiency in BIM software and tools (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy in BIM model coordination
