About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage assigned jobs and arrive at customer locations at least 30 minutes before scheduled service time
  • Identify customer locations and prepare for field assignments
  • Work with customers and third-party personnel on-site
  • Support field operations requiring overnight travel and stays near customer sites
  • Safely work with electrical systems and equipment up to 5,000 volts
  • Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available
  • Follow company processes, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Support successful job execution and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Communicate job status and operational needs to customers, supervisors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with Baker Hughes Health, Safety, and Environment standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in field operations, electrical service, maintenance, industrial service, or a related technical environment
  • Experience interacting directly with customers and supporting field-based operations
  • Ability to safely work with electrical systems and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
  • Current work authorization in the country of employment
  • Employer unable to provide or continue work authorization sponsorship
