About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and schedule materials required to execute the business
  • Work with sales, commercial, regional, AMO and supply chain teams to translate forecasts, sales orders and planned orders into physical orders
  • Ensure materials are delivered to meet customer requirements
  • Understand business trends and opportunities and their impact on demand forecasts
  • Analyze incoming demand, order exceptions, product rationalization misalignment and existing inventory opportunities
  • Plan and schedule order timelines while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
  • Prioritize delivery dates with Product Line, Sales and Service Delivery teams
  • Perform material management analyses, including consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit materials and safety stock
  • Implement inventory stocking strategies
  • Monitor safety stock, global inventory and aging inventory, coordinating corrective action with regions and manufacturing plants
  • Ensure spare parts, asset demands, new assets and repaired assets are captured in Sales & Operations Planning
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects to maximize value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent experience (2+ years’ experience)
  • Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
  • Basic understanding of SAP and MRP functionality
  • Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
  • Tactical execution with a sense of urgency
  • Valid work authorization in the country of employment
  • Employer unable to sponsor work authorization for this role at any time
