About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage sales activities within an assigned geographic territory and customer portfolio
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities and execute sales strategies to achieve growth objectives
- Sell technical products, systems, services, solutions, and projects
- Lead complex sales processes involving technical, commercial, financial, logistical, and operational considerations
- Analyze customer requirements and develop customized proposals
- Collaborate with technical sales, engineering, operations, and commercial teams
- Manage important customer accounts and serve as primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
- Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and commercial agreements
- Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activities
- Manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and account plans
- Coordinate resources across multiple functions for project and sales execution
- Support medium and large-sized sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction and business performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop understanding of customer operating environments and industry-specific challenges
- Support customer meetings, site visits, business reviews, travel requirements, and commercial priorities within the assigned territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Sales
- Experience managing customer accounts and developing long-term business relationships
- Experience selling technical products, systems, services, or solutions in a customer-facing environment
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sales opportunities
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop value-based solutions
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve business challenges
- Experience leading programs, projects, or commercial initiatives
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to collaborate across functions and influence others
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute sales programs and initiatives
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth
- Valid work authorization in the country of employment; employer unable to sponsor work authorization
