About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Subsea XT technologies for customer needs
- Generate new designs, detailed drawings, stack-up drawings, bills of materials, calculations, and engineering part information
- Lead qualification and system integration testing to meet customer requirements and industry standards
- Manage plans, budgets, risks, resources, stakeholders, and change management
- Lead global teams and work across business functions using DFMA principles
- Provide technical guidance and peer reviews for engineering deliverables
- Coach and mentor engineers and designers within a globally diverse team
- Create patents and technology, conduct Freedom to Operate analysis, and follow market trends
- Bring products from customer requirements and conceptual design through detailed engineering, testing, qualification, approval, and delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems
- Experience with 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software
- Deep understanding of GD&T and Design for Manufacture principles
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflict management
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Deep knowledge of CAD tools CREO (PRO-E) and TeamCenter / PLM Engineering packages
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, preferably Mechanical / Industrial / Petroleum
- Willingness and desire to continue personal development
- Chartered Engineer desirable
- Positive, proactive growth mindset
