About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients
  • Engage proactively with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges
  • Implement testing to assess internal-control deficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Manage fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results
  • Provide financial-statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and gathered information
  • Deliver business insight through review, analysis, and discussion
  • Assist with client engagement staffing, billings, and collections
  • Ensure client profitability targets are met
  • Build relationships internally, externally with clients, and within the community
  • Participate in firm-wide learning and development programs
  • Support team-member growth through mentoring and coaching

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree
  • CPA
  • Five (5) years of experience
  • Five (5)+ years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm (preferred)
  • Proven PCAOB/SEC experience preferred
  • Two (2)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates (preferred)
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and supervise others
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current regarding applicable strategies
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as the details
  • Appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment
  • Sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely project completion
  • Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
