About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work primarily with high net worth individuals within the Private Wealth Tax Practice
- Manage time and priorities to meet deadlines with quality, accuracy, and timeliness
- Provide best-in-class client service through communication, information gathering, onboarding, and delivery
- Communicate with team members, clients, and third-party client advisors
- Help clients navigate various client platforms
- Support the team in accomplishing client deliverables
- Communicate work status proactively, ask timely questions, and seek clarity from engagement leads
- Meet client service expectations through quality and timely deliverables
- Build and maintain team and client relationships and positive communications
- Assist with client data gathering by reviewing required client data and information
- Communicate roadblocks and inefficiencies promptly
- Apply learning from one client engagement to the next
- Stay current with applicable technology platform updates and improvements and obtain certifications as directed
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Experience in lieu of a degree may be accepted
- 0 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong desire to provide exceptional client service and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle matters confidentially
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with a sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment serving multiple clients
- Demonstrated time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Strong adaptability and multitasking skills
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
- Ability to learn from experiences and integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work
- Desire to work independently with clients
- Ability to work limited overtime as needed
- Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll principles related to classifying, recording, and summarizing data and making computations to compile and maintain financial records
- Experience in QuickBooks preferred
- Experience and knowledge working within MS Office Suite
