About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accelerate growth across Baker Tilly’s Tax, Assurance, and Consulting practices
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Real Estate sector in an assigned territory
  • Build, manage, and expand client relationships
  • Partner with Real Estate Industry Practice leaders to shape and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate across service lines to develop value-driven solutions for real estate clients
  • Generate and manage a client-facing pipeline and lead or participate in client pursuits
  • Represent the firm’s full suite of services to the Real Estate ecosystem
  • Co-develop a sales plan for the assigned territory and report weekly progress to senior management
  • Deploy sales techniques and strategies across service lines and geographies
  • Position core service offerings within target markets to influence decision-makers
  • Maintain client satisfaction, communicate proactively, and troubleshoot issues
  • Own and strategically manage accounts
  • Support industry-specific systems and technology development and lead overall sales strategy
  • Maintain CRM compliance in Salesforce and keep an accurate qualified-opportunity pipeline
  • Attain closed-business dollar goals for new and existing accounts
  • Follow up on Firm-generated leads
  • Collaborate with Industry, Service, Geography BD leaders, and practice leaders on an integrated GTM approach
  • Conduct account planning and key-account research
  • Conduct prospect outreach and secure appointments with COI individuals
  • Coach, develop, and lead sales professionals and industry resources
  • Demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking, and thought leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 10+ years of experience in Real Estate-focused industries or professional services supporting these sectors, required
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience selling or delivering tax, assurance, and/or consulting services within Real Estate environments, required
  • Excellent sales skills and a proven track record of achieving KPI’s
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with internal Partners, Senior Management and stakeholders
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship required
  • Ability to travel more than 50% as needed
