About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage multiple family office client engagements, ensuring exceptional client service and timely delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and trusted advisors
  • Leverage an established private wealth network to identify and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Drive business development activities, including networking, referral generation, and cross-selling firm services
  • Advise clients on family office operations, accounting, reporting, and governance matters
  • Oversee engagement planning, staffing, budgeting, and risk management
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture
  • Collaborate with tax, advisory, and wealth management professionals to deliver integrated client solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Twelve (12)+ years experience in accounting, advisory, or family office services
  • Strong network and established relationships within the private wealth, family office, and ultra-high-net-worth community
  • Proven ability to drive business development and manage client relationships at an executive level
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles related to classifying, recording, and summarizing financial data
  • Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong background in fund, management company, and partnership accounting
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and family office structures
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Sage Intacct
  • Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
  • CPA, JD and/or MBA preferred
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Tax experience/exposure preferred
