About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and transaction advisory services
  • Gather data, review documents, and prepare quality of earnings reports
  • Research and perform financial analysis of target companies primarily in the health care space
  • Conduct due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Communicate with clients to ensure exceptional client service
  • Participate in firm marketing and recruiting activities
  • Network and build strong internal and external relationships with clients and the community
  • Invest in individual professional development and firm-wide learning programs
  • Support team-member growth and development through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy
  • Work side-by-side with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory or transaction service lines
  • At least one year of Transaction Advisory or Financial Due Diligence experience preferred
  • Health care industry experience preferred
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related
  • Certified public accountant (CPA) preferred, not required
  • High motivation, initiative and positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
  • Intermediate modeling and Excel skills
  • Experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Ability to generate data-driven insights
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
  • Ability to comfortably interact with senior-level client personnel, including supporting executive briefings
