About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Project Manager and Director of PMO in the successful delivery of major projects impacting the global network.
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, objectives, outcomes, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Determine project changes and communicate them in a timely manner.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and project documentation is maintained appropriately.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions or follow defined escalation routes.
  • Prepare and circulate project reporting according to a defined cadence.
  • Provide administrative, including scheduling, support as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience in lieu of degree accepted.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant or related experience.
  • Proven track record of working to strict deadlines.
  • Experience working with fellow team members and wider stakeholders remotely.
  • Experienced with a range of Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • A basic understanding of project planning tools is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Logical and structured approach to assessing, planning, and delivering projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Flexible and proactive in response to change.
  • Interest in working towards the Association for Project Management’s Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ), or equivalent qualification.
