About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead global client service teams across capital markets and SPAC transactions; SEC/SEBI reporting and compliance; financial accounting and reporting; GAAP conversions; transaction accounting for acquisitions, carve-outs, and restructuring; accounting change including revenue recognition and lease accounting; and accounting policy manuals and technical accounting memorandums
  • Organize and provide technical training
  • Lead Associates and Seniors on client engagements and provide high-quality delivery
  • Manage people and performance
  • Conduct trainings for team members on accounting and reporting concepts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK)
  • 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting
  • At least 2 years of advisory experience, preferably with a Big 4
  • Expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Ind-AS
  • Extensive experience in financial statement preparation and consolidation processes
  • Extensive experience with technical accounting advisory on complex topics, including business combinations, consolidation, and debt/equity
  • Experience with GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards
  • Experience drafting accounting policies and writing technical memorandums
  • Candidates can expect at least two-three rounds of technical interviews
