About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in projects focused on Finance Performance Improvement, Business Analytics and Decision Support, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Transaction Support, and Program/Project Management
  • Participate actively in the team’s project work and provide hands-on support
  • Interact directly with managers and partners on client and engagement management matters
  • Strengthen existing client relationships by providing outstanding client service
  • Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors, lenders, and other sophisticated parties
  • Participate in internal and external training sessions and networking events
  • Assist with campus recruiting and refer experienced individuals to the firm
  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards
  • Support CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors in improving financial reporting processes through technical analysis and process improvement services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two (2) plus years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory service line
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to use appropriate tools, applications, and accounting and finance concepts to facilitate analysis
  • Exposure to Middle Market financial suite applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, IntAcct, etc. is a plus
  • Intermediate modeling and Excel skills
  • Experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Ability to generate data-driven insights
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
