About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in projects involving Finance Performance Improvement, Business Analytics and Decision Support, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Transaction Support, and Program/Project Management
- Actively contribute to project teams through hands-on work
- Interact with managers and partners on client and engagement management matters
- Strengthen existing client relationships through outstanding client service
- Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors, lenders, and other sophisticated parties
- Participate in internal and external training sessions and networking events
- Assist with campus recruiting, refer experienced individuals, and participate in the Employee Referral Bonus Program
- Demonstrate excellent team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two (2) plus years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory service line
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
- Knowledge and ability to use appropriate tools, applications, and accounting and finance concepts to facilitate analysis
- Skills with Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus
- Exposure to Middle Market financial suite applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and IntAcct is a plus
- Knowledge of functionality, workflows, automated controls, data consolidation, reporting, and analytics
- High motivation, initiative and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
- Intermediate modeling and Excel skills
- Experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
- Ability to generate data-driven insights
- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
