About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the platform and production capabilities enabling the firm’s AI agents and products to reach production securely, reliably, and at scale
Own the vendor integration platform, agent runtime and environments, shared platform services, AI-native software development lifecycle and CI/CD, quality engineering, online evaluation, DevOps, observability, release mechanics, and production engineering
Oversee production handoff with the enterprise technology organization
Build and lead the Platform & Production Engineering team
Establish standards, pipelines, controls, and release processes for internally developed and third-party AI solutions
Build and operate platform services and AI-native CI/CD
Own production releases, approvals, security reviews, quality engineering, observability, rollback, and production handoffs
Establish integration standards for third-party AI solutions, including event and webhook interfaces, APIs, MCP endpoints, identity, and entitlements
Develop CI/CD pipelines with automated evaluation, quality and security controls, and traceability
Lead online evaluation, scaled ground truth, regression discipline, and release quality for AI products in production
Partner with Enterprise Architecture on production handoff standards
Partner with AI Engineering, Data & Intelligence, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Product Management, service-line technology teams, and systems-of-record owners
Partner with platform and MLOps engineering teams in India on consistent standards, operating practices, and delivery expectations
Establish release standards and operating agreements with AI Engineering and Data & Intelligence
Bring externally developed platform and DevOps capabilities in-house and establish sustainable processes and runbooks
Engage in special projects or complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus
15+ years of platform, infrastructure, or production engineering experience, including senior leadership of platform teams serving multiple product teams
Experience owning the path to production for product software inside a large, regulated, or professional-services enterprise
Deep CI/CD, DevOps/SRE, observability, and release-engineering practice at scale
Experience building pipelines where quality and security gates run as code
Experience building or operating AI/LLM platforms or leading platform teams serving AI product teams strongly preferred
Experience running an integration platform or API program with external vendors
Experience leading distributed or US–India engineering as one system
Experience bringing partner-built platform capability in-house
Demonstrated personal AI leverage using agentic tools
Knowledge of platform engineering, runtimes, environments, shared services, event-driven integration, API and MCP design
Knowledge of production engineering, CI/CD, release mechanics, observability, rollback, and security review as code
Knowledge of quality engineering for AI systems, online evaluation, ground truth at scale, and regression discipline
Knowledge of enterprise delivery, production approvals, identity and data boundaries, and operating-model handoffs
Engineering management skills including hiring bars, standards, and dependency management across organizations
Executive communication skills
