About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design electrical systems for building projects
- Apply knowledge of building design and applicable codes
- Use Revit and AutoCAD in electrical engineering work
- Participate in a comprehensive training program to develop a strong technical base
- Work on innovative building-system designs for High Rise, Mission Critical, Multi-Unit Housing, Commercial Office, Higher Education, Transportation, Adaptive Reuse, and Life Science facilities
- Collaborate with clients, staff, and industry partners
- Present technical information and interface with clients
- Grow a successful engineering career in a collaborative, leadership-oriented environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree (BSEE, BET), with relevant internship/co-op experience
- EIT accreditation a plus
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- General knowledge of applicable codes
- Strong technical writing
- Presentation and client interface ability
- Basic knowledge of and exposure to building design
- Must work in the New York City office; full-time roles work in office and qualify for one day remote work
