About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and serve as, or work with, the structural E.O.R. for building designs of new construction, renovations, and additions
Provide consultations to clients and prospective clients for structural work
Support BALA’s MEP departments on infrastructure and fit-out projects
Adapt structural engineering services to commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and retail sectors
Pursue structural engineering work aligned with BALA’s vision
Develop client relationships and support business development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Structural Engineering, or Civil Degree with structural emphasis, from an accredited institution
Registered EIT with a focus on Structural Engineering
Registered PE preferred
10+ years experience in structural design of buildings
Creative problem-solving skills
Capable of working individually and in a team environment
Ability to thrive in collaborative work situations
Thorough research and multi-disciplinary curiosity
Affinity for marketing and business development
Strong interpersonal skills for developing client relationships
