About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the handling of tax notices and the preparation of responses for audits conducted by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, SEFAZ, SFM, and other competent authorities
  • Provide consulting support to business areas regarding indirect tax legislation and the tax impacts of operations
  • Participate in the identification and recovery of ICMS and IPI tax credits
  • Review the calculation of state tax incentives
  • Provide support for internal and external audits
  • Participate in the development and analysis of tax structures related to new business needs
  • Prepare accounting and tax reports related to credit balances and departmental KPIs
  • Lead discussions and follow up on tax matters with partner law firms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Knowledge of current tax legislation
  • Experience with indirect tax calculation and reporting
  • Accounting knowledge applied to tax functions
  • Basic knowledge of the SAP ERP system
  • Knowledge of the Mastersaf and Tax One systems
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced English is a plus
