Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Information Security Manager with day-to-day operations securing the firm’s cloud presence
Collaborate with the Information Security team, Managed Security Services Provider, Networking, DevOps, and other IT and external groups
Ensure security controls are appropriately configured and maintained
Ensure proper employment of Cloud Security Posture Management, SIEM, and other cloud security solutions
Help teams securely deploy resources in the cloud environment
Administer cloud-based privileged access and conduct regular access reviews
Implement and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls
Monitor the security posture of firm cloud-based resources
Review security events through the firm’s SIEM solution and security dashboards
Identify and respond to vulnerabilities and anomalous activity
Work with DevOps to monitor, maintain, and improve the security posture of code and pipelines
Participate in incident response as part of the Computer Security Incident Response Team
Assist with audits and questionnaires, including client security audits
Participate in an after-hours incident call tree

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related field
3-5 years of relevant experience
CISSP helpful
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure and O365
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving
Keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
