About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage day-to-day compliance operations for nonprofit and PAC clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communications, inquiries, and regulatory matters
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate disclosure filings, reports, and submissions
  • Monitor statutory and regulatory timelines and escalate potential compliance risks
  • Maintain accurate records of nonprofit and PAC activities, contributions, disbursements, filings, and supporting documentation
  • Support compliance reviews, audits, investigations, and regulatory responses
  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to provide updates and track action items
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, transparency, and operational efficiency
  • Work with QuickBooks, bookkeeping software platforms, and PAC and lobbying reporting CRMs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal, compliance, accounting, regulatory, public records, government affairs, or related field
  • Experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven workflows involving multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of compliance processes, documentation management, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs and provide exceptional service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and discretion
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with, and willingness to learn, QuickBooks, bookkeeping software platforms, and PAC and lobbying reporting CRMs
  • Previous experience supporting nonprofit organizations and/or Political Action Committees (PACs) preferred
  • Experience with bookkeeping software preferred
  • Experience with NetDocuments and Adobe Acrobat preferred
