About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze, draft, review, and negotiate contractual clauses and agreements related to banking transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, internal policies, and the Bank’s procedures.
- Assess legal risks and propose contractual solutions aligned with institutional policies and the specific characteristics of each transaction.
- Collaborate with internal departments, commercial teams, and clients to facilitate the formalization of transactions.
- Provide technical support and clarification throughout the process.
- Lead negotiations with clients and law firms.
- Analyze more complex matters while maintaining technical quality, organization, and adherence to deadlines.
- Work with the Legal Department, Executive Management, and operational teams on the structuring, analysis, and formalization of transactions.
- Support partner teams in interpreting clauses and defining legal solutions.
- Contribute to the standardization, updating, and continuous improvement of the department’s templates, procedures, and workflows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Experience analyzing, drafting, and reviewing agreements and contracts related to banking products.
- Basic Excel proficiency for preparing and monitoring internal controls.
- Advanced Word proficiency for preparing, reviewing, and formatting legal documents and contractual templates.
- Focused and organized, with the ability to manage multiple processes and demands simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality in deliverables.
- Resilience and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
