About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform financial matching of transactions with brokers by comparing information received via email, systems, and internal databases
Reconcile the previous day’s movements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
Handle the prematching of booked trades, including exchange and BMF transactions
Participate in processes related to exchange events and equity corporate actions, such as rights offerings
Receive instructions and perform operational procedures related to corporate actions
Handle equity securities custody routines, monitoring the processing of transactions and movements
Support portfolio analysis and financial routines related to operations
Execute and monitor payments associated with the department’s routines
Identify and resolve asset delivery failures, informing managers and the teams involved
Liaise with brokers and the teams responsible for securities lending, particularly to cover short positions
Liaise with Controllership teams to clarify questions, resolve discrepancies, and monitor transactions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed or nearing completion in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional experience in the financial market
Experience with equities, preferably in securities custody, transaction processing, or controllership activities
Knowledge of exchange/B3 and BMF transactions
Knowledge of equity corporate actions
Experience with transaction reconciliation and processing
Proficiency in Excel
Knowledge of databases, queries, and/or macros
Experience with B3’s Central Securities Depository/Custodian (CAC) is a plus
Experience with equity offerings and corporate actions is a plus
Experience negotiating and processing portfolios is a plus
Knowledge of routine automation, macros, and databases is a plus
PQO – Back Office certification is a plus
Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented profile
