About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, implement, review, and monitor credit policies and strategies for Private Payroll-Linked Loans
  • Define and enhance eligibility, approval, credit limit, approval authority, and credit rule criteria
  • Develop risk segmentation strategies based on borrower, employer, customer relationship, and credit behavior
  • Analyze portfolios, vintages, delinquency, losses, approval rates, originations, concentration, and performance indicators
  • Develop quantitative studies and exploratory analyses using large volumes of data
  • Support the evolution of credit models and decision engines, including definition, parameterization, testing, and monitoring
  • Assess the impact of policy changes, commercial strategies, and new initiatives on approval rates, risk, losses, and profitability
  • Develop analyses and recommendations to identify target audiences and segments with growth potential
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Risk, Pricing, Collections, Operations, Data, and Technology teams
  • Monitor market and regulatory changes related to Private Payroll-Linked Loans
  • Serve as a technical reference for Private Payroll-Linked Loans and Credit Policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field
  • Solid experience in Credit Policy, Credit Strategy, or Credit Risk, preferably in the retail banking segment
  • Experience with payroll-linked lending; specific experience with Private Payroll-Linked Loans is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of lending criteria, risk segmentation, delinquency indicators, vintages, losses, and profitability metrics for credit products
  • Experience conducting quantitative analyses and handling large volumes of data
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
  • Knowledge of Python and/or other analytical tools for conducting studies, automating processes, and performing statistical analyses
  • Ability to translate quantitative analyses into clear recommendations for credit and business decisions
  • Strong analytical reasoning and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to investigate root causes, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities through data
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence decisions and collaborate across technical and business teams
