About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the formalization, settlement, and control of foreign exchange transactions
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Execute operational processes accurately
Ensure the quality of information and records in internal systems and with regulatory authorities
Reconcile the daily position with the Central Bank of Brazil
Analyze documents, classify transaction purposes, and execute spot foreign exchange transactions with the Central Bank of Brazil (exports, imports, FC, and FV)
Record interbank transactions and arbitrage operations
Collect withholding income tax (IR) and Financial Operations Tax (IOF) applicable to transactions
Formalize, settle, and control foreign exchange products
Send payment orders through the SWIFT system (PAC008/PAC009)
Register payment orders in the Exchange system
Control shipping documents (DI/DUE)
Assist the team with internal requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Strong knowledge of foreign exchange legislation, Central Bank of Brazil regulations, and the New Foreign Exchange Framework
Knowledge of the Exchange system and SWIFT
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF)
ABT-1 certification
