About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and monitor financial performance against targets
  • Monitor cash flow, costs, profitability, and financial indicators to support management decision-making
  • Lead strategic accounting management and tax planning
  • Establish performance governance for the conglomerate’s companies, subsidiaries, and investee companies
  • Identify opportunities to structure new financial models and investment funds

  • Lead mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and divestitures
  • Lead due diligence, risk assessments, and financial modeling
  • Ensure post-acquisition financial integration, synergies, and resource optimization
  • Monitor financial, foreign exchange, credit, and operational risks, proposing mitigation measures
  • Implement internal controls and processes to prevent fraud and financial losses
  • Ensure accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance and oversee audits
  • Evaluate and structure fundraising and financing options
  • Monitor corporate investments and ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Negotiate with financial institutions regarding investment portfolio composition and fees
  • Maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory authorities
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
  • Work with senior leadership and executive peers to support the Group’s sustainable growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed postgraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary finance teams
  • Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting management, including budgeting, cash flow, costs, and performance indicators
  • Experience with tax and accounting planning and strategies for optimizing results
  • Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and investments (M&A), including due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, and post-merger integration
  • Experience in risk management, compliance, and corporate governance
  • Knowledge of capital markets, fundraising, and the structuring of financial transactions
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, feasibility analyses, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
  • Strategic and systems-oriented perspective for analyzing financial indicators, risks, and corporate objectives
  • Strong executive communication skills and experience presenting reports and recommendations to senior leadership, boards, and stakeholders
  • Experience negotiating with financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners
  • Ability to make decisions in highly complex and high-pressure situations
  • Adaptability to regulatory, economic, and market changes
  • Advanced business English for reading and interpreting reports and contracts and participating in international negotiations
  • Reside in Brasília, Federal District, given the need to participate in in-person activities and events associated with the role
