About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs, including construction safety orientation and regulatory compliance training
  • Create, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, and documentation
  • Lead professional orientation sessions using PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools
  • Provide regulatory and proprietary training for large industrial construction sites
  • Customize training content to meet client-specific requirements
  • Work directly with field teams and project management to reinforce safe practices
  • Support site visits by monitoring and reinforcing compliance with safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide progress reports as needed
  • Communicate through written reports, verbal presentations, and public speaking
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents promptly to management
  • Participate in safety briefings and support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with executives, engineers, construction managers, and field employees
  • Lead multiple training sessions per day in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction, Communication, or a related field (2–4-year degree minimum)
  • 2–3 years of documented EHS experience, preferably supporting large construction projects
  • Experience delivering construction safety training and orientations
  • OSHA 30 required
  • OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver training effectively to large, diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of regulatory training requirements and best practices
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple sessions per day
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and present multiple sessions per day
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Experience designing and implementing training programs on large industrial construction sites preferred
