About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support monitoring of BofA’s 2030 sectoral net zero goals associated with financing activities
- Assist with development and maintenance of voluntary commitments and regulatory requirements
- Assist with advancing engagement strategies with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with execution of team processes and control documentation
- Work with the pillar lead on team priorities and tasks
- Engage with the data lead to advance and deliver analytical capabilities
- Develop presentations communicating sectoral net zero performance and related topics
- Support vendor management, audit, compliance, and risk requests
- Engage with peer banks, NGOs, and stakeholders to develop guidelines and best practices and monitor industry trends
- Perform research and represent the Global Environmental Group at internal and external events as needed
- Collaborate with GEG, Public Policy, lines of business, Global Technology, Risk, Finance, and other groups
- Report to the Global Environmental Executive and be accountable to the Net Zero Strategy pillar lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in financial services, sustainability, ESG, environmental strategy, risk, finance, consulting, or a related field
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience working with large datasets and performance metrics
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and communications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating across complex organizations and with diverse stakeholder groups
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in AI prompting is a plus
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- 40 hours per week
- 1st shift (United States of America)
