About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to functional-area and business priorities
  • Define, develop, execute, monitor, and refine strategic initiatives and processes with key stakeholders and internal partners
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Region Executives and key Line of Business stakeholders
  • Provide executive-level business insights, performance analysis, reporting oversight, and program leadership
  • Drive complex initiatives and translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and influence across organizational boundaries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support business objectives and drive operational excellence
  • Build and/or execute business initiatives and processes while partnering with stakeholders
  • Solve complex problems using subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
  • Perform analytics, assessments, and interpretation of data to identify opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to advance business goals and objectives
  • Conduct pricing analysis, statement reviews, cost comparisons, and pricing proposals
  • Provide national support for Merchant Field Sales, Centralized Sales, and Retention teams, including onboarding, product support, buyers’ remorse, and technology support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of Merchant experience required
  • Interchange and pricing knowledge required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting data, identifying business opportunities, developing insights, and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, influence decisions, and drive initiatives across multiple business areas
  • Leadership skills and ability to lead a small team and manage team deadlines to SLAs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • 40 hours per week
  • Credit knowledge desired
