About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Platform and Product Controls CORE team within Specialized Consumer Client Solutions
  • Promote business continuity, crisis management, operational resilience, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Facilitate and execute deliverables related to business continuity planning, testing, incident management, and progress reporting
  • Provide business continuity subject matter expertise and recovery and resolution planning support
  • Coordinate platform incident management and operational readiness for major events
  • Prepare Business Continuity plans for major market events and manage real-time live events
  • Develop and continuously review templates, playbooks, and critical information
  • Identify business risks and associated controls to mitigate operational, systematic, reputational, and credit risk
  • Establish communication forums with business partners and identify internal process improvements
  • Establish action plans for initiatives and projects
  • Assess risk and control environment design and effectiveness
  • Monitor and test controls, identify issues, and implement control improvements for remediation
  • Lead optimized controls and Quality Assurance practices supporting business continuity
  • Manage team members conducting quality inspection reviews
  • Ensure timely execution of QA activities, case management, and results reporting
  • Manage and review responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, monitoring, and inspection reviews
  • Ensure data accuracy and capture information for inspection metrics and governance dashboards
  • Potentially manage associates, coach employees, manage budgets, and drive business outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8+ years of experience in financial services
  • Experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or Operational Loss Management
  • Experience in Business Controls, Digital Operations, or Supervisory functions
  • Leadership experience, including leading through change and process improvements
  • Strong analytical capability, root cause analysis, attention to detail, and concise reporting
  • Creative resolution development, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance
  • Ability to develop subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of issues
  • Strong organization skills, including managing multiple responsibilities, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and WebEx
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel functions and PowerPoint
  • Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing business needs
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly and work effectively during time-sensitive events
  • Bachelor's degree (desired qualification)
  • Knowledge of Consumer Investments Operational processes (desired)
  • Experience in Trade Correction, Credit Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Operational Loss Management (desired)
