About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support execution of the Internal and External Operational Loss Data Programs and associated governance routines across assigned Consumer Front Line Units
  • Monitor adherence to enterprise operational loss data standards and complete required monthly attestations
  • Co-manage relationships with Consumer Lines of Business and Business Controls partners
  • Review operational losses exceeding $100K for accurate identification, classification, booking, documentation, and adherence to standards and procedures
  • Produce monthly 10K eLedger research to validate operational losses above $10K and follow through on exceptions
  • Coordinate GCOR quality assurance responses, Front Line Unit Near Miss attestations, and recurring program deliverables
  • Provide operational loss booking subject matter expertise and guidance
  • Perform quality reviews of manual submissions, updates, and supporting documentation for reportable losses
  • Support external operational loss data activities, including data collection, validation, analysis, governance reporting, and escalation of trends or gaps
  • Maintain program documentation and adhere to Internal and External Operational Loss Data SOPs
  • Support front line units in monitoring and adhering to process management requirements
  • Extract data using Tableau and EBIT Cognos Analytics and apply relational database knowledge using MS Access
  • Connect and transform data across multiple sources into meaningful values and insights
  • Partner with the senior reporting manager to support process management across Consumer and Small Business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in operational loss, operational risk, finance, or business controls
  • Knowledge of internal and external loss data standards and loss-event lifecycle processes
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Access, Excel (formulas and Pivot tables), PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with ORCIT/Key Measures, Process Owner Portal (POP), OMINA, Tableau, and EBIT Cognos Analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience extracting and merging data from different sources
  • Ability to manage recurring deliverables and partner effectively across multiple Front-Line Units and control functions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Process improvement and/or data analysis experience
  • Ability to develop executive-ready communications and presentations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly matrixed, and complex environment
  • Strong risk mindset with process and controls background
  • Ability to debate and escalate issues and concerns
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week on 1st shift in the United States of America
