About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business or Enterprise Control Function
  • Provide analytical and administrative support for LOB- or ECF-specific processes and tools
  • Support implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes by gathering and organizing data
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment for Client Operational Services
  • Monitor and test controls, identify issues, and support remediation of control improvements
  • Conduct and coordinate quality inspection reviews
  • Execute QA activities, manage cases, and report results
  • Identify procedural updates, test script updates, and data discrepancies
  • Support operational research for regulatory exams, internal audits, monitoring, and inspection reviews
  • Perform QA reviews on commercial loans for fulfillment and/or servicing teams
  • Interpret loan agreements and validate client, facility, and loan setup in the system of record
  • Verify loan agreement terms, conditions, renewals, and amendments on the commercial loan platform
  • Verify accrual schedules for the life of each loan
  • Support project work across multiple teams/sites and recommend process improvements
  • Drive defect remediation and professionally address disputes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the field of loan or account administrator/processor or equivalent
  • Commercial/wholesale lending preferred
  • Intermediate accounting skills
  • Effective communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with dual screens
  • Proficient computer skills utilizing mainframe and PC software packages
  • Capability to work with multiple systems to validate accuracy
  • Ability to accurately interpret loan agreements and validate setup in the system of record
  • General knowledge of loan structure, loan agreements, and credit regulations
  • General knowledge of loan accounting/reconciliation of general ledger debits and credits, including researching and clearing exceptions
  • Ability to identify and escalate quality assurance findings promptly
  • Ability to work effectively with others and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, code of conduct, risk framework, policies, standards, procedures, and guidance
  • College degree preferred
