About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute local market strategy in Suburban market segments
- Support Market Executives and local Presidents in driving responsible growth
- Drive market communications, project management, and community impact initiatives
- Develop internal and external relationships to further employee and community engagement
- Drive client, employee, and community engagement through event planning and execution
- Prioritize in-person visibility and strategic presence in the market
- Coordinate Bank of America Charitable Foundation funding through grant approvals, declinations, and nonprofit communications
- Manage local market volunteerism and adherence to community development service standards
- Support external and internal communication plans, including newsletters, social media, and talking points
- Execute local market assets for local brand strategy, including logos, tickets, and advertisements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-10 years of experience within a highly matrix environment
- Superior project management background with event management planning and project execution
- Ability to translate plans/policies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables
- Excellent problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills
- Superior cross-Line of Business coordination, communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal/written skills and ability to interact with and lead discussions with multiple business partners/executives
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input from others
- Proven analytical and presentation skills; ability to source and synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Advanced computer skills, including Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to utilize public speaking, newsletters, websites, and social media
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Strategic mindset and strong program management skills
- Ability to navigate and influence key internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience (desired)
- 7+ years of experience in the field or related industry (desired)
- Familiarity with Local Market platforms, including Market Growth & Collaboration scorecard, Cybergrants, and MarketScape (desired)
- Strong understanding of the local non-profit community (desired)
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
