About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to customer experience
  • Use Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, PowerShell, JavaScript, Alteryx, Python, and relational databases for analytical support
  • Support strategy development and ensure goals are met
  • Propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results
  • Evaluate data to assess potential fraud and other risks and create mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Work with Product Management to exceed business, team, and enterprise reporting and governance standards
  • Implement scalable automated solutions and solve short-term business needs while supporting the long-term vision
  • Recommend ways to achieve desired business outcomes and inform decisions using data analysis
  • Analyze financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends
  • Improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
  • Lead coordination of product performance reports and updates for senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Data Analyst or Process/Project Management or similar role in financial services industry
  • Effectively collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and complete user acceptance testing
  • Combine business acumen with analytical skills, interpret large amounts of data, synthesize multiple analyses, and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates
  • Oral and written communication skills with team members and customers
  • Ability to work independently and on team projects, executing on-time and with precision
  • Create, review, and monitor requirement documents supporting repeatability, business continuity, governance, and audit requirements
  • Stay current with Bank of America-approved software and applications
  • Expertise in two of: JavaScript, Tableau, PowerShell, SQL, Alteryx, Python, PowerQuery, VBA, Nintex
  • Bachelor's in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent experience (desired)
  • Knowledge of agile methodology (desired)
  • Business understanding of Global Operations (desired)
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1st shift in the United States of America
